A solar farm with your name on it! You have full naming rights to a ground based project, to showcase your company name and promote your contribution to net zero. This is a favourite feature for many of our clients.
Sleeving is the transfer of electrical energy from a renewable energy project to an off taker, through an intermediary energy services company.
The electricity consumer (i.e. the off taker) agrees to buy energy from a renewable project at a pre-determined price (p/kWh) for a pre-determined period of time, through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
By agreeing a sleeved PPA, you directly support the creation of an additional renewable energy project that would not have been there without your agreement. In other words, your commitment directly created additional renewable energy capacity - this is referred to as additionality.
Upon signing a sleeving PPA of sufficient scale to build an entire solar farm, your company will gain the 'naming rights’ to this project, meaning you can promote that the world is a better place because of your actions!
